World Cancer Day 2021 is celebrated every year on 4th February to spread awareness to reduce the global impact of cancer. The day is a global uniting initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). The World Cancer Day marks the ‘I and I will’ campaign that was launched in 2019. The celebration of World Cancer Day is about reducing misconceptions about cancer and helping people achieve it. Correct information about this. Globally, the second leading disease is cancer. The major cancers affecting the population are lung, breast, and cervical, head, neck and stomach cancers. Started in 2000 at the World Summit against Cancer, World Cancer Day has turned into a positive movement for all, united by one voice to meet one of our greatest challenges in history everywhere.Schools, businesses, hospitals, shopping malls, parks, community halls, places of worship – on the streets and online, organizations and individuals – have hundreds of events and events around the world every year to gather and we have a global role in cancer and its effects.



The theme for World Cancer Day 2021 is ‘I Am and I Will’ with a target of reducing the number of premature deaths from cancer and non-communicable diseases by one third by 2030.It is a multi-year campaign that was launched in 2019, marking the final this year. There is no cure for any type of cancer, but there are treatments that can cure you.Many people are treated for cancer, live a lifetime, and die from other causes. Others are treated for cancer and die from it, yet treatment can give them more time: years or decades.

Cancer According to the data published on the official website of World Cancer Day, approximately 9.6 million people die of cancer every year.The report states that at least 1/3 of common cancers can be prevented. So, it is clearly concluded from this that an appropriate strategies need to be implemented as it can save 3.7 million lives.

World Cancer Day is the single initiative that can unite the world in the fight against the global cancer epidemic. It happens every year on 4 February.World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer and asking governments and individuals around the world to take action against the disease.
